Team PokerStars Pros Eugene Katchalov and Viktor Blom went to the flop with a third player in the hand. The flop came down and there was 4,950 in the middle. Katchalov fired 2,200 and Blom raised to 6,400. The third player folded and Katchalov made the call.
The turn card was the and Katchalov checked with 24,325 behind. Blom bet 8,600 and Katchalov went into the tank for quite some time. He would eventually fold and allow Blom to take the pot.
It's interesting that these two played a hand together, but not only because they are both Team PokerStars Pros. They share something else in common.
In 2010, Katchalov won the $100,000 Super High Roller event at the PCA. This year, he presented Blom with the trophy as he won the event yesterday. We'll surely be keeping an eye on this interesting table that also include fellow Team Pro Noah Boeken.
