First into the pot from late position, John Esposito opened to 160,000, and Ryan Lenaghan gave him action from the big blind. The two men checked through the flop, and Lenaghan took the lead on the turn. He bet 165,000, and Esposito put both hands behind his towers. "I raise," he said with a firmness, and he committed his last 1.385 million chips to the pot. Lenaghan tanked for a good while, then made an impressive call.
On seeing Lenaghan's cards, Esposito said something like, "Buddy, I got a lot of wins with this hand!" He did have a plethora of outs, and he found the on the river to secure a second double-up within just a few minutes.
This one moves Esposito all the way up to about 3.36 million, knocking Lenaghan down under 11.5 million.
