Day 2 of Event #36: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball began with 38 players remaining from the starting field of 241 entrants. Among them were bracelet winners Brian Rast, Eli Elezra, and Phil Hellmuth. However, none were able to reach the final table. Hellmuth, in fact, was eliminated by end-of-day chip leader Steven Wolansky.

The official final table was reached shortly after the dinner break and following Scott Bohlman's elimination in seventh place, the remaining six players opted to bag and tag for the night. Among those still in the field is German football star Max Kruse, as well as 2010 WSOP November Niner Joseph Cheong.

Scott Bohlman - 7th place
Scott Bohlman - 7th place

Scott Bohlman raised all in from under the gun for about 36,000. Action folded to Max Kruse in the big blind who called, quickly standing up and standing pat. Bohlman let out a big sigh and after about 60 seconds also decided to stand pat.

"Ten," said Kruse, who tabled {10-}{8-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

Bohlman showed {10-}{9-}{8-}{6-}{2-} and mucked, but not before rabbit hunting a {7-}. Bohlman earned $9,223 for his seventh-place finish.

Skommo Hits a Seven

[user20283] • Level 17: 2,000-4,000, 1,000 ante

Orjan Skommo moved all in for 54,000 and Steven Wolansky moved all in over the top to put the players behind him under the maximum amount of pressure.

All the others folded and Skommo drew one card while Wolansky stood pat.

Skommo showed {6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and was drawing against {10-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}. Skommo did not sweat his card and immediately turned over a {7-} to rake in this pot.

Steven Wolansky raised to 8,000 and from his immediate left it was Christopher Mecklin who three-bet to 21,000. The action folded back to Wolansky who made the call.

Both players patted and checked and Mecklin showed a nine-eight low to take down the pot.
