Fleyshman Getting Very Short

Noah Schwartz has been whittling away at the stack of Dan Fleyshman, and we picked up the latest pot as the latter opened to 24,000 from his button. Schwartz defended, and the two men checked through the {5-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {2-Spades} flop. On the {6-Hearts} turn, Schwartz took the lead with 25,000, and Fleyshman called to see the {10-Clubs} fill out the board. Schwartz stacked up more chips and slid 45,000 of them into the pot, drawing a long tank from his opponent. Fleyshman mumbled to himself for a bit, then hopped off the fence and dropped the call into the pot.

Schwartz tabled {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} for top pair, and it was good enough to earn him the pot and extend his chip lead well beyond 2:1.

Two For Roger and One For Brian

Brian Powell raised to 18,000 and Roger Hairabedian called. The flop was {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} {8-Hearts} and both players checked, as they did with the {Q-Spades} turn. The last card to float onto the felt was the {10-Spades} and Hairabedian bet 8,000 and Powell called. Hairabedian tabled {Q-Clubs} {J-Clubs} and Powell folded.

Hairabedian raised to 19,000 and Powell made the call. They both shared a flop of {9-Spades} {8-Spades} {3-Spades} and Powell check-called a 12,000 Hairabedian bet. Both the turn {3-Hearts} and river {10-Spades} were both checked through and Powell won the pot with {J-Spades} {8-Hearts}

Hairabedian raised to 20,000 and Powell called. The flop was {10-Spades} {9-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} and both players tapped the felt with their pinkies. The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Powell check-called a 22,000 Hairabedian bet. The river was the {10-Clubs} and both players checked and Hairabedian won the hand with {J-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}

Anatolii Ozhenilok Eliminated in 7th Place (€54,810)

Anatolii Ozhenilok had hardly won a pot in the second round and he will not win any more as he has just been eliminated by Shawn Buchanan.

Buchanan raised on the button and Ozheniolk made a move with {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Unfortunately for him, Buchanan held {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and made an easy call. The board ran out {7-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and we are now down to just six players in this tournament.

Hairabedian Doubles Up Through Powell

[user169806]

Roger Hairabedian min-raised to 16,000 and Brian Powell call. Both players seemed to like the {7-Spades}{A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop with Powell check-raising Hairabedian's 12,000 bet to 37,000, the latter making the call.

The {10-Hearts} on the turn saw Powell lead out with a 78,000 and Hairabedian call this bet also. The river was the {5-Diamonds}, Powell checked, Hairabedian moved all in and Powell very quickly called.

Powell{A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Hairabedian{A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

A real cooler of a hand for Powell but he still has enough chips that he does not have to panic.

Brian Powell v Roger Hairabedian

Neither pair are really giving much away in terms of tells or chips. Both of them look the part and both look extremely comfortable and confident.

In the past fifteen minutes this was the only particular pot of any note in a very cautious encounter.

Hairabedian bet 16,000 and Powell made the call. Both players checked all the way to the river on a board of {A-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {3-Spades} {8-Clubs} and Powell eeked out a 27,000 value bet holding {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}.
