Joel Dodds check-called a bet of 2,400 from his opponent on the {J-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{J-Clubs} board. The river was the {Q-Spades} and Dodds checked again. His opponent didn't go for the bait and checked behind. Dodds tabled the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for trip jacks and his opponent mucked.

Winzeler Drops Another One to Lemaire

[user68268]

Hugo Lemaire and Hans Winzeler just butted heads once again. This time, action folded to Lemaire in the cutoff seat and he raised to 900 before Winzeler three-bet to 2,250 from the button. Action folded back to Lemaire and he called to see the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop. On the flop, Lemaire checked and Winzeler checked behind.

The turn brought the {A-Spades} and Lemaire checked. Winzeler took this chance to fire a bet and made it 2,500 to go. Lemaire called.

The river was the {3-Spades} and both players checked. Lemaire tabled the {A-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Winzeler mucked his hand.

James Bord

Joe Cassidy had made his way to a seat at a table in the tournament room here at the Majestic and November Niner Matt Giannetti has hit the rail.

Updating the defending champion James Bord, we see he's sitting on roughly 68,000 after the dinner break.

What Would Lodden Do?

• Level 5: 200-400, 50 ante
Robert Mizrachi (with the shoulders of Devonshire and Mizzi in the foreground)
Robert Mizrachi (with the shoulders of Devonshire and Mizzi in the foreground)

"Thirty-two fifty."

"Thirty-three hundred."

"Thirty-three fifty."

"Thirty-three fifty-one. I'm a nit."

"Thirty-four hundred."

The game of "Lodden Thinks" is still going full swing between Robert Mizrachi, Sorel Mizzi, and Bryan Devonshire over at Table 15. They're throwing €50 notes around like Barry White at a strip club.

Naujoks Takes One From Mizrachi

Sandra Naujoks raised to 1,025 in mid-position and Robert Mizrachi three-bet to 3,100 on the button. The small blind folded but the big blind called and Sandra Naujoks made it a three-way flop.

Flop: {9-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {3-Spades}

The action checked to the three-bettor and Mizrachi made it 7,600. The big blind folded and Naujoks made the call.

Turn: {K-Diamonds}

With 25,000 in the middle, this pot was getting tasty. Naujoks checked and Mizrachi bet 11,000 and she once again made the call.

River: {7-Spades}

Both players checked and Naujoks tabled {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} whilst Mizrachi flashed {J-} {J-} whilst mucking.

Sam Trickett Eliminated

Sam Trickett is not in his seat and the table space is devoid of chips. The english speaking players are not sure how he was eliminated but think Max Lykos eliminated him just before the dinner break.

Hugo Lemaire checked the {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{A-Hearts} board and Hans Winzeler bet 3,600. Lemaire made the call to see the {4-Spades} land on the river. Lemaire checked again and Winzeler bet 7,700. Lemaire began to tank. He was in the tank for so long that another player at the table called the clock on him. Eventually, Lemaire made the call.

When Lemaire called, all Winzeler could do was toss his hand face down into the muck. Lemaire tabled the {Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for a pair of queens and won the pot.

A Big Number

• Level 5: 200-400, 50 ante

Registration is now closed, and the numbers are being finalized. We know we had somewhere around 280 players today (we'll call it 283 tentatively), but we'll wait for the triple-check and the verification before we tell you that for certain. Our total field size should be just less than 600.

We'll have the numbers and the prize pool for you shortly.

After-Dinner Poker

• Level 5: 200-400, 50 ante

The players are (mostly) back from dinner, and we've got two more levels to play before we bag up for the night.
